RESILIENCE is the process of adapting in the face of adversity, leading to empowerment and opportunity. In celebration of Black History Month, MCB focuses on the resilience of the African American community. In the MCB Education Classroom, we'll highlight some individuals and groups who have, through their own resilience, overcome obstacles to become important contributors in such fields as science, the military, and humanities.
