5:30 p.m. Black baseball has a long, storied past in Texas. Greg Garrett, Museum Experience Educator, will discuss this past as it relates to personal theories on its introduction to African American communities, its growth despite segregation in both urban and rural communities, and its importance to these communities. This presentation will give voice to these communities and their heroes.
