A recognized leader in small-scale agriculture in the region and beyond, Justin built Four String Farm in Rockport, Texas, as a pioneer farm in one of the toughest places in America to grow food. Working by himself, using methods practiced by pioneer farmers of 200 years ago, he carved a niche of domesticity from the coastal Texas wilderness and turned it into the largest and most successful small-scale farm business in the region. Justin and his wife Kayla, a licensed dietitian, a home chef, and Culinary Editor and writer for THE BEND Magazine, live off the land at their home in Rockport, TX.
