Apr. 14, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Patrick McLaughlin, a Certified Bourbon Steward, presents a brief history of the spirit Congress designated as a “distinctive product of the United States.” This 60-minute lecture examines the spirit from its humble beginnings, through Prohibition and the booming bourbon industry today, including a look at Texas’ emerging bourbon distillers. Participants will also be instructed in various tasting and nosing techniques. Limited to 15 participants. Ages 21+ only.
