Jeff Goodwin, Ph.D., discusses the latest research on soil health and grazingland sustainability.
Goodwin is the director of the Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management within the Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management at Texas A&M University. Goodwin is an experienced grazingland manager, rangeland ecologist, and consultant with 23 years of demonstrated history of working in the ranching and conservation industry. In addition to Dr. Goodwin’s publication record, he has presented extensively across the nation on subject matter related to ecosystem services, soil health and carbon sequestration, and sustainably managing grazingland systems. He has held and continues to fill multiple leadership roles with the National Grazing Lands Coalition, Texas and Oklahoma Grazing Land Coalitions, and the Society for Range Management.
