Leading Texas historian Stephen L. Hardin draws on the accounts of the Runaways themselves to relate a tale of high stakes and great sorrow in his newest book, Texian Exodus. Dr. Hardin is a retired professor of history, previously at McMurry University in Abilene and at Victoria College. This presentation is the keynote event for The Texas Independence Book Festival at the Museum of the Coastal Bend.
